Galerie für zeitgenössische Kunst
Leipzig

a serial liveconcept for four persons:

four times: à 20 minutes
three fades: à 5 minutes

dthe four participants perform electroacoustic livesets of 20
minutes each, which are played serial, yet differ in method and style.
the sets overlap at a length of 5 minutes.

methods:

daniel neumann:
uses samples of records of diverse genres, restructuring and
modulating them. a very atmospheric musique concrète evolves.

ronny alexander jung processes soundtracks of movies with
a thematic link to a
warm ambient-sound.

patrick franke:
uses the overlapping-time to record the sounds of the
former participant. this sample is being remodulated and
rearranged in a selfgenerated program, based on coincidental
principles.

alexander hessel:
plays an atmospheric mixture of urban fieldrecordings,
mixed with dry rhythmic as well as melodic elements.
